While Labor Day marks the end of summer, for gamers in the Seattle area, it is a highly-anticipated time of year as it marks the return of PAX West. From the exhibition hall and panels, to tournaments and live musical performances, PAX West is a four-day conference dedicated to fostering a community of video game players. Audio-Technica was thrilled to return to PAX West after having wonderful time exhibiting in 2017. This year, we had our headsets and content creation mics on display, plus we hosted some special guest streamers for meet and greets in the A-T booth. Twitch Streamers FemSteph and GoldGlove Meet and Greet

On Saturday, Twitch streamers FemSteph and GoldGlove stopped by the A-T booth for a meet and greet! Fans were able to take photos, receive autographs, and speak to some of their favorite streaming role models. Both FemSteph and GoldGlove were greeted by excited fans and chatted about their favorite video games, gear, and more!

Fortnite Characters Stopped by the A-T Booth

As Fortnite has taken the gaming world by storm over the past year, the game was highlighted all over PAX West. With more than 125 million players worldwide, fans buzzed around the convention hall looking for the beloved game characters. Fortnite characters such as Beef Boss, Rex, Tricera Ops, Tomato Head, and more were nice enough to stop by the A-T booth for a quick photo op!

Game On: A-T Gives Gamers the Chance to Play In-Booth

Surrounded by the video game community, A-T invited attendees to visit the booth to test out our equipment in action! As headsets serve as the main source of communication between users while playing, A-T offers a variety of headsets, each created with the gaming community’s needs in mind. Attendees were able to test out the ATH-AG1x, ATH-ADG1x, ATH-PG1, and ATH-PDG1 gaming headsets in our booth this year.

Streamers Speak their Mind at A-T’s Mic Station

In addition to the gaming station, booth visitors were able to test a variety of microphones, each featuring different options for capturing the best in-game audio. The display included the BPHS1 headset, the AT2035, AT202USB+, AT2020USBi, and ATR2100-USB microphones, as well as the ATH-M40x headphones. While playing a variety of games, attendees tested the mics, discussing their favorites with our team.
