New AT8699 and AT8699R Microphone Desk Stands
Making their debut at InfoComm 2019 are the new AT8699 and AT8699R low-profile microphone desk stands. Designed for use with gooseneck microphones, the desk stands allow for quick mounting of microphones in applications not suited for permanent installation. The AT8699 and AT8699R are equipped with a 3-pin XLRF input and a 3-pin XLRM output.
The AT8699R adds a user-programmable control switch with three settings: touch on/off, momentary on (touch to talk), and momentary off (touch to mute). Adding to the overall dynamic of this microphone desk stand, the AT8699R features an LED mic-status indicator, which can also control the LED on a connected ATUC or ES925/XLR gooseneck mic.
A-T Launches ATUC-IR Hybrid Infrared Discussion System
As a means to expand the conferencing and discussion solutions offered by A-T, we’re introducing the ATUC-IR Hybrid Infrared Discussion System at InfoComm! The new discussion system was designed to provide reliable, clear, and intelligible communication, while offering users easy plug-and-play operation, and the use of both infrared and wired discussion units. Providing 24-bit/48 kHz uncompressed digital audio, the ATUC-IR Hybrid Infrared Discussion System delivers natural-sounding voice reproduction.
Unlike signals from typical UHF wireless systems, the IR transmission requires no frequency coordination and keeps signals safe and secure, with no information leakage. The ATUC-IRDU Discussion Unit may be used with a choice of three gooseneck condenser microphones – two hypercardioid and one line cardioid – of differing lengths.
A-T Introduces Updated Line of MicroSet® Microphones
A-T is also unveiling several new MicroSet Headworn Microphones at this year’s show. The BP892x, BP893x, and BP894x are updated versions of previous models, with notable enhancements, including detachable cables and more secure ear loops for better comfort and fit. All models are ideal for stage and television talent, lecturers, and worship leaders.
The BP892x microphone features an ultra-lightweight design, which allows for maximum stability and comfort for hours of continuous use. The BP892x features a subminiature omnidirectional condenser capsule that delivers extremely intelligible, natural audio with a flat, extended frequency response.
With an extremely unobtrusive 0.2″ boom, the BP893x is a high-SPL omnidirectional condenser headworn microphone, offering users inconspicuous, under-the-ear placement promoting clear, natural voice pickup.
Like the other models, the BP894x hooks behind either ear for a secure, comfortable fit. It also features a rotating capsule housing with talk-side indicator for perfect placement of its cardioid condenser, providing excellent rejection of outside noise, with exceptional gain-before-feedback when used with live sound systems and stage monitors.
Announcing the ES925 Modular Gooseneck Microphone Systems
Also on display at InfoComm 2019 are A-T’s new ES925 modular gooseneck microphone systems, which offer 72 possible configurations. All ES925 modular microphone components are interchangeable, allowing users to determine the best setup for their needs with three different polar patterns, four power module options, and six different gooseneck lengths.
ES954 Hanging Microphone Array on Display
Serving as a cost-effective solution for huddle rooms, conference rooms, and other meeting spaces, the ES954 Hanging Microphone Array may be used alone or in multiples to capture every person speaking in a room. As a microphone that is adaptable to its environment, the four-capsule microphone array provides 360-degree coverage through virtual hypercardioid or cardioid outputs that can be steered horizontally and tilted vertically when controlled by the Audio-Technica ATDM-0604 Digital SmartMixer®.
Complete with UniGuard® RFI-shielding technology, the ES954 Hanging Microphone Array offers outstanding rejection of radio frequency interference. The ES954 also features a low-reflective white finish, Plenum-rated AT8554 Ceiling Mount with RJ45 connectors, push-type wire terminals, and an included seismic cable, making for simple, secure installation that blends with the ceiling tiles in most environments.
A-T Updates UniPoint® Boundary Microphones
At InfoComm 2019, A-T is revealing the updated UniPoint U891R Boundary Microphone models, which replace the previously available models. These four new models (U891Rb, U891RWb, U891RCb, U891RbO) will now feature the addition of a two-state RGB LED status indicator and a touch-sensitive capacitive-type user switch that can be set to three modes.
All new U891R models are also equipped with an 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep® filter to reduce pickup of low-frequency ambient noise, UniGuard® innovations that offer unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference, and a unique PivotPoint® rotating connector that changes the cable exit point without the need for tools.
