Jam in the VanThe hottest place to discover new music is currently making its way across the country! Jam in the Van (JITV), packs the world’s first and only solar-powered mobile recording studio facility into a 38-foot-long Winnebago Holiday Rambler RV and takes it to wherever new music is being created. We are so excited to have been named Jam in the Van’s exclusive microphone/headphone sponsor, helping capture the live recordings JITV has become known for. Two friends, Dave Bell and Jake Cotler, founded Jam in the Van five years ago in Venice Beach. Since its launch, JITV has amassed over 90k subscribers, who are treated to as many as three new tracks a day from five artists a week. Rock, Americana, jazz, blues, soul — the JITV crew has done it all, from bands’ backyards to festivals like SXSW, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Live on the Green. Over 600 bands and artists have been tracked, streamed and promoted through JITV, including Gary Clark Jr., Allen Stone, Lukas Nelson and Anders Osborne.Wyclef Jean Jam in the Van Performance “We’ve built ourselves into a top way to discover new music,” says Cotler. “We’re adding 4,000 new subscribers every month, and they’re seeing two to three new videos from new artists every day.” That amounts to amazing exposure for independent artists in an increasingly crowded market. But it’s not just indie artists who get in on the fun, well known artists including Moe and Wyclef Jean have made an appearance in the van. Jam in the Van is equipped with a wide variety of A-T microphones and headphones, including the ATH-M50x Professional Monitor Headphones, AE4100 Cardioid Dynamic Handheld Microphone, ATM250 Hypercardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone and more. We’re excited that our line of pro audio gear gets to hit the road and be part of JITV’s production! Achieving and maintaining a high level of sonic quality is critical for the success of Jam in the Van, Cotler explains, “Partnering with A-T as the microphone sponsor takes us to an entirely new level in terms of sound quality.” Follow Jam in the Van as they travel across the country and discover new music along the way by subscribing to their channel on YouTube.
