Our team had a great time exhibiting at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas last week. The annual show brings together the latest advancements in technology from innovators around the world, and also marks the debut of several new A-T products each year. This year, we unveiled a selection of noise-cancelling and wireless headphones, as well as a new turntable. New Wireless, Noise-Cancelling Headphone Technology

Looking for the ease of a wireless connection, but not willing to compromise on the audio quality? You’re in luck, because at CES 2018 we debuted several pairs of wireless headphones that feature our latest advancements in audio technology. 

QuietPoint® Headphones

ATH-ANC700BT QuietPoint® Wireless Headphones Making their debut at CES 2018, the ATH-ANC700BT QuietPoint® Wireless Headphones feature our proprietary Active Noise-Cancelling (ANC) technology designed to greatly reduce environmental noise, as well as intuitive touch and swipe controls, making for easy music playback. The ATH-ANC700BT headphones can be used with or without the included cable and offer approximately 25 hours of continuous Bluetooth® and ANC use. Our ATH-ANC700BT QuietPoint® headphones won the 2018 CES Editors’ Choice Award at the show from Reviewed.com, and we offered a truly “hands on” experience with the new headphones at the A-T booth. Visitors were invited to relax and unwind with a complimentary massage and soothing music playing through the ATH-ANC700BT headphones. The ATH-ANC700BT headphones will be available in March 2018.

Solid Bass® Headphones

We added a new model to our Solid Bass® line of headphones, designed for superior bass reproduction in a wireless package. ATH-WS660BT Solid Bass® Wireless Over-Ear Headphones The ATH-WS660BT Solid Bass® Wireless Over-Ear Headphones feature 53 mm Deep Motion Drivers and memory foam earpads for vibrant full-range wireless audio, invigorating bass, and excellent sound isolation. They can be used wirelessly for up to 40 hours of continuous use and come in attractive Black/Red or Gunmetal/Blue color schemes. The ATH-WS660BT headphones will be available in January 2018.

SonicSport® Headphones

Fitness fanatics at CES were excited to see our newest SonicSport® headphones, which offer a variety of fitness-inspired features to deliver great sound quality wherever your workout takes you. ATH-SPORT50BT and ATH-SPORT70BT SonicSport Headphones The ATH-SPORT50BT SonicSport® Wireless In-Ear Headphones (left) come equipped with a comfortable ear-hook design that keeps the headphones securely in place during even the sweatiest workouts and an IPX5 Waterproof Certified exterior so you can easily rinse them off afterward. They offer up to six hours of continuous wireless use and come in a variety of bright colors. The ATH-SPORT70BT SonicSport® Wireless In-Ear Headphones (right) offer all the same great features as the ATH-SPORT50BT headphones but with advanced features including an ambient noise hear-through option to provide safer use outdoors. The ATH-SPORT70BT headphones also offer up to six hours of continuous wireless use and come in attractive black and rose-gold designs. The ATH-SPORT70BT and ATH-SPORT50BT headphones will be available in spring 2018.

Pure Digital Drive In-Ear Headphones

At CES 2017, we introduced Pure Digital Drive technology, which offers superb sound quality not previously available in wireless headphones, and at CES 2018 we brought that same technology to in-ear headphones for the first time ever. ATH-DSR5BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones The ATH-DSR5BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones are our first in-ear model to offer Pure Digital Drive, a newly developed technology that offers crystal-clear audio reproduction not previously found in wireless headphones powered by Bluetooth technology. The unique design offers a comfortable neckband that rests on the back of the neck and positions the microphone and playback controls for easy access. The rechargeable battery provides approximately eight hours of continuous wireless use. The ATH-DSR5BT headphones will be available in spring 2018.

Audiophile Headphones

Audiophiles at CES 2018 were delighted to see our newest open-air dynamic headphones, which have set a new standard for open-back headphone performance. ATH-ADX5000 Audiophile Open-Air Dynamic Headphones The ATH-ADX5000 Audiophile Open-Air Dynamic Headphones were the recipients of a CES 2018 Innovation Honoree award. They feature our newly developed Core Mount Technology, which optimally positions the driver unit within the housing to produce highly transparent mid and high frequencies and rich, precise bass sound. Additionally, the ATH-ADX5000 headphones offer integrated driver units that combine a tungsten-coated diaphragm, baffle and Permendur magnetic circuit in a single unit to produce stable diaphragm movement and exceptional sound. The 58 mm drivers offer an extended Hi-Res Audio-capable frequency response from 5 Hz to 50,000 Hz.

High-Fidelity Turntable

Vinyl collectors and audiophiles alike at CES 2018 appreciated our newest turntable, which has been engineered to deliver a superior high-fidelity listening experience. AT-LP7 Belt-Drive Turntable The AT-LP7 Belt-Drive Turntable was designed around the critical role a cartridge plays in reproducing high-fidelity audio from vinyl and comes with the VM520EB Dual Moving Magnet Cartridge. The AT-LP7 turntable was engineered to bring out the best in the VM line and other manufacturers’ phono cartridges, and specifically to highlight the exclusive Dual Magnet design of the VM520EB cartridge. This unique structure precisely positions the magnets to match the left and right channels of the record’s stereo groove walls for exceptional channel separation and tracking of the record groove.
