Since the very beginning in 1987, the South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival (SXSW) has grown into one of the most heavily attended music and tech events in the United States. The iconic music festival is held every year around mid-March in Austin, Texas. Musicians, music enthusiasts and more recently tech enthusiasts from all over the world come together to celebrate music, film and technology. SXSW is a whirlwind event, there’s truly nothing else like it and our team is eager to hit the streets of Austin for this year’s show!

Where to Find A-T at SXSW

You can find us at the SXSW Trade Show from March 15 – 18 in Stands 721, 723 and 725. Stop by to see the great audio gear on display and enter to win an ATH-M50x headphone in our daily giveaways! In addition to our presence at the SXSW Trade Show, we will be hosting and attending several interactive events throughout the week that you won’t want to miss. Kickoff 2015 (presented by Guitartown/Conqueroo & M Music and Musicians)

Wednesday, March 18; 11 AM to 9 PM at The Dogwood The ultimate kickoff event will include musical performances featuring Dale Watson, Jimmy Lafave, Ray Wylie Hubbard, The Mastersons, and more! Free with RSVP, limited quantities of Audio-Technica in-ear headphones will be given away at the event.

SXSW Music Gear Expo App Annex

Thursday, March 19 – Saturday, March 21; 11:00AM - 6:00PM This event will allow you to channel your inner musician by giving attendees the opportunity to connect a pair of our legendary ATH-M50x headphones to an iPad allowing creativity to fly as you try out a few music creation apps. Audio-Technica is the official headphones sponsor of this event.

MPressFest SXSW 2015

Friday, March 20; 12 PM – 5:30 PM at The Soho Lounge Come join MPress Records for their 9th Annual MPressFest at SXSW 2015 and enjoy an afternoon of free cocktails, free food and amazing music! Thursday, March 19 – Saturday, March 21; 6PM – 9PM The A-T team will be creating balloon art headphones for all attendees. Pick your favorite colors and we’ll get to work, creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Folk Alliance at SXSW 2015

Saturday, March 21; 12 PM – 7 PM at Threadgill’s This Folk Alliance Music Festival is an all day event featuring an indoor and outdoor stage.
