Summer may be coming to an end, but for us that means one thing: time for the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Convention! Audio-Technica at AES 2014 The 137th International AES Convention will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in beautiful California from Thursday, October 9 through Sunday, October 12. As the world’s largest annual gathering of audio professionals, the convention is undoubtedly a mecca for all things related to sound, and our team is honored to attend and be a part of the event year after year. From recording and production, broadcast and streaming, game audio, live sound, post-production, and more – our pro audio team will get to learn from other industry experts about the latest technology in the industry and hear firsthand from professionals about the audio solutions they’d like to see (or hear) in the future.

Get Ready for AES Los Angeles 2014

Wondering how to prep for the big show? Here’s some advice from our team:
  1.  Register Now: Registering in advance (by September 29) will save you money, so don’t wait. You can sign up now for a free Exhibits-Plus badge or save on an All-Access badge to take advantage of workshops and more. Register here!
  2.  Plan Your Stay: With so many audio professionals traveling to Los Angeles at once, save yourself the headache and register for a nearby hotel now. AES has special room rates for convention attendees, and you can snag a great deal through the AES housing website.
  3.  Map the Week: As tech nerds, we love the AES Mobile Convention App for organizing our schedule, checking out the sessions, and planning our walks on the floor with the app’s Floor Plan Map. Honestly, we don’t know what we did at AES without it!
  4.  Get Social: In addition to the AES Mobile Convention App, you should seek out your favorite speakers and vendors on social media to get the latest news on what’s happening at the convention. Our team will have quite a few events at our booth so be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as we post with the #AESorg hashtag!
