ATH-DSR5BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones with Pure Digital Drive

Make the switch to wireless headphones with Audio-Technica’s ATH-DSR5BT in-ear headphones.

The ATH-DSR5BT are the first in-ear wireless headphones to offer Audio-Technica’s Pure Digital Drive system. Previously found only in our ATH-DSR7BT and ATH-DSR9BT over-ear headphones, the Pure Digital Drive system uses a newly developed A-T chipset to control driver amplitude directly with digital signals, producing unparalleled Bluetooth® headphone audio reproduction. While most wireless headphones are dependent on digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion, which can result in degraded audio resolution, A-T headphones with Pure Digital Drive technology can bypass this D/A conversion. As a result, there is no sound-degrading conversion process required, so the audio maintains its original quality from Bluetooth devices directly to the headphone driver.

In addition to Pure Digital Drive, the ATH-DSR5BT headphones also include a variety of tech-centric features developed to enhance the audio quality of the Bluetooth headphones. For instance, the ATH-DSR5BT headphones feature highly efficient dual phase push-pull drivers of different diameters (9.8 mm and 8.8 mm) to provide crystal-clear sound reproduction. The ATH-DSR5BT headphones also support the Qualcomm aptX HD codec to receive 24-bit/48kHz audio signals.

The microphone, volume, and playback controls on the ATH-DSR5BT headphones are located in the front of the neckband for easy access, while the ergonomic design allows the headphones to be worn comfortably for hours. For a custom fit and excellent sound isolation, the headphones come with four sizes (XS, S, M, L) of interchangeable silicone eartips. The internal lithium polymer rechargeable battery allows you to enjoy up to eight hours of uninterrupted wireless audio, and the battery recharges quickly with the included USB charging cable.
