AT-LPW40WN Fully Manual Belt-Drive Wooden Design Turntable

With its strikingly sleek wooden appearance and newly-designed, straight-line tonearm, the AT-LPW40WN is a turntable unlike any other previously offered by A-T. The AT-LPW40WN was  introduced at CES this year as a part of one of A-T’s largest product rollouts and is now available to vinyl fans who are looking for a more traditional look without having to sacrifice audio quality. The high-fidelity audio reproduction of the AT-LPW40WN matches its aesthetic, which is sure to integrate seamlessly into any vinyl lover’s décor.

AT-LPW40WN Turntable Features

As a fully manual, belt-drive turntable, the AT-LPW40WN is not only compatible with 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records, but also features a monitor with a speed sensor that maintains accurate platter rotations. The AT-LPW40WN includes an AT-HS4 universal ½”-mount headshell and an  AT-VM95E Dual Moving Magnet phono cartridge with 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus. The AT-VM95E is also compatible with any VM95 Series replacement stylus, offering users a wide variety of options for every budget.

In addition to providing a beautiful and eye-catching design, the AT-LPW40WN features anti-resonance MDF (medium density fiberboard) plinth with simulated walnut wood veneer to limit low-frequency acoustical feedback. The AT-LPW40WN is also equipped with a straight carbon-fiber tonearm with hydraulically damped lift control and lockable rest.

Like many of A-T’s newly designed turntables, the AT-LPW40WN turntable is complete with a built-in phono preamp, allowing it to be used with a variety of audio systems and components. The included AC adapter handles AC/DC conversion outside of the chassis, which reduces noise in the signal chain. Also included with the AT-LPW40WN is a dual RCA stereo cable, 45 RPM adapter, rubber mat, and removeable hinged dust cover.

  1. Would like pricing information in this gorgeous turn table

  2. Can this connect directly to the phono outlet on my receiver to play through my system or do I need a separate pre amp also?

  3. Gorgeous looking turntable. What are the specs for Wow and Flutter? Are moving magnet cartridges supported or just moving coil types? Thanks

  4. Most (though not all) audiophiles object to an internal preamp even if there is a bypass switch. They suggest it isn’t truly bypassable and even go so far as to suggest it be manually removed to improve sound. Wouldn’t just about anyone interested in this sharp-looking turntable not want an internal preamp?

  5. This looks like a great buy and a solid turntable. The cartridge has been given high marks in the industry for sounding great. A very affordable way to get into vinyl or just looking for another turntable. I have been playing vinyl for over 65 years and this looks like a great way for someone to keep vinyl alive.

    • Hi Grace! The turntable has an internal RIAA preamplifier. You may connect the turntable directly to powered speakers or a stereo receiver. Thanks! – A-T USA
