A passion for music is often instilled at a young age and music education plays a large role in inspiring the next generation. That’s why we are proud to have been named High School Nation’s exclusive headphone and microphone sponsor, helping to provide an immersive musical experience for high schoolers across the nation.
High School Nation (HSN) is the largest secondary school touring music festival in the USA, featuring live music and presentations that educate students about careers in the arts. To date HSN has provided nearly $2 million to more than 200 schools, keeping music and arts programs alive. Throughout 2017 High School Nation will be traveling to 60 schools to help set up permanent recording facilities in each school.
Each tour stop also features presentations that will encourage students to pursue a career in the arts. Through hands-on activities and live music from popular artists including Plain White T’s, the students are exposed to the world of music and art.
The High School Nation tour features a wide variety of A-T gear. Students have a chance to win AT2005USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphones, and either ATH-M20x or ATH-M30x Professional Monitor Headphones at each tour stop. For the schools’ new recording studios, we have provided AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphones and either ATH-M20x or ATH-M30x headphones. A-T headphones and microphones also complement HSN’s engaging presentations at each school, including the System 10 PRO Rack-Mount Digital Wireless Systems, ATM230PK, ATM650 and ATM250 Hypercardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphones, ATM510 Cardioid Dynamic Handheld Microphones and ATH-M50x Professional Monitoring Headphones.
The overall mission of High School Nation truly resonates with the team here at Audio-Technica. Gary Boss, our Marketing Director, Professional Markets explains, “High School Nation is a great opportunity for Audio-Technica to make a positive impact on the next generation of music creators and music lovers. It really helps remind me why I got into this business in the first place. It’s a great hands-on experience for the student body and boo st to the school’s music programs.”
