We came, we saw, we conquered!
2016 started off on a high note, as we ventured to sunny California for the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Show, arguably the largest US trade show in the music industry. Musicians, engineers and manufacturers were all on hand to see the latest and greatest professional audio gear on display throughout the week.
Our pro audio team worked tirelessly to develop several new products that continue the tradition of providing the music industry with the highest quality gear possible.
We were proud to unveil several exciting new additions to our product lineup, including the ATH-M50xMG limited-edition matte gray headphones, E-Series in-ear monitor headphones, and ATM230 and AE2300 instrument microphones.
One of the most exciting aspects of the NAMM Show every year is getting to catch up with all our friends in the industry. Throughout the week dozens of familiar faces stopped by our booth to check out our new gear, including: Steve Lagudi, Charlie Waymire, Frank Klepacki and Stevie Wonder.
We were feeling the love at this year’s show, as A-T gear took home several awards. Our ATH-R70x professional open-back reference headphones received a TEC award for Headphone/Earpiece Technology. The Music & Sound Retailer named the AT2020USBi Cardioid Condenser Microphone the Best Cabled Microphone of 2015. And ProSoundWeb readers voted to make the ATH-R70x headphones a Readers’ Choice Award winner.
Last, but not least, our friends over at The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus had the larger-than-life #BigM50 headphones on display and any fans who had their photos taken with the oversized headphones were entered into an awesome ATH-M50x raffle.
Thanks to all of those who put out their best #BigM50 faces – we always love hanging out by the bus and this year’s event was no exception.
We’re already looking forward to NAMM 2017, but until then we hope you enjoy all the pro audio gear that debuted this year.
