We’re still recovering from a whirlwind week in Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Throughout the week we unveiled the latest and greatest in Audio-Technica gear. From turntables to headphones, there was something for casual listeners and audio professionals alike. But don’t worry if you missed any of our big announcements – what happened in Vegas most definitely won’t stay in Vegas.

The Warmth of Vinyl with your Bluetooth Speakers

Our new AT-LP60-BT Wireless Turntable allows users to listen to records using Bluetooth wireless technology, including Bluetooth wireless speaker systems, headphones, and other wireless playback devices. The fully automatic turntable delivers the vinyl sound you love, now in any room of your house. Look for the AT-LP60-BT when it goes on sale in January in a variety of colors including black, white and navy.  

2015’s Best Headphones Just went a Step Further

The ATH-MSR7 has made name for itself among audiophiles and casual listeners alike, and was even named 2015’s Headphones of the Year by Reviewed.com and USA Today. This year we took the success of our Hi-Resolution headphones a step further and introduced the ATH-MSR7NC Headphones with Active Noise Cancellation. The ATH-MSR7NC features proprietary noise-cancelling and venting technologies that work together to maintain Hi-Res Audio reproduction in both passive and active-noise-cancelling modes. These smartphone-compatible headphones with in-line mic and controls feature Audio-Technica’s 45 mm True Motion drivers and two acoustic resistors that provide extended accurate bass and improved high frequencies. The ATH-MSR7NC hits stores in April 2016.  

Meet the Latest SonicPro® Headphones

In addition to the ATH-MSR7NC we’re also introducing two more headphones to our SonicPro® line. The ATH-SR5BT wireless Hi-Res Audio headphones with Bluetooth technology employ aptX® sound-improvement technology, specifically created to yield the best-possible audio performance over a Bluetooth transmission. The smartphone-compatible ATH-SR5BT with built in mic and volume/control switch remembers the last eight wireless devices for ready pairing with the listener’s favorite audio sources. The ATH-SR5BT will be available in black and white. The ATH-SR5 offers all the features and high-resolution audio performance of the ATH-SR5BT except without wireless Bluetooth connectivity and will be available in three colors: black, white and navy/brown. Both models will be available in April 2016.  

Our Best Gaming Headsets Ever!

The debut of the closed-back ATH-AG1X and open-back ATH-ADG1X marks a new chapter for our line of gaming headsets. These new headsets build upon the winning formula of the previous models with newly designed 53 mm large-diameter drivers, an improved 3D Wing Support System for even greater comfort and more. The new gaming headsets deliver an immersive sonic experience with exceptional dynamics and a realistic soundstage that draws listeners completely into the gaming environment. Both include a built-in microphone and new, softer earpads, and are compatible with gaming consoles and PC. Gamers can get their hands on the ATH-AG1X and the ATH-ADG1X in March.  

Growing our Solid Bass Family

Our Solid Bass lineup of headphones will feature several new models in 2016: two new over-ear headphones, the ATH-WS99BT wireless headphones with Bluetooth technology and ATH-WS1100iS with Hi-Res Audio, and four in-ear models, the ATH-CKS55XBT with wireless Bluetooth operation, the Hi-Res compliant ATH-CKS1100iS, and the ATH-CKS990iS and ATH-CKS550iS. All are designed to reproduce bass-driven music the way it was meant to be heard, with features and enhancements designed to deliver powerful, impactful bass. All Solid Bass models are smartphone-compatible with a mic and controls. These new Solid Bass models will be available in February.

The new ATH-A2000Z, ATH-A1000Z, ATH-A990Z closed-back headphones and ATH-ESW990H portable wooden on-ear headphones are Hi-Res Audio compliant and offer an immersive listening experience with clear, natural vocal and instrumental reproduction, a smooth tonal balance, precise imaging and superlative dynamic range. In addition, our new closed-back over-ear ATH-A550Z provides high-fidelity sound at an attractive price.
